At Yellow Dog Woodcraft, we have a passion for the natural beauty of wood. We specialize in custom cutting boards, charcuterie boards, cribbage boards, wood carvings, and other handcrafted wooden decor. If you have a unique idea in mind, we’re always open to a conversation — and if it’s something we can make, we’ll work closely with you to bring your vision to life.

We offer a selection of stock designs that can be customized with names, messages, or special dates. If you have your own design in mind, just share it with us — we’ll assess its feasibility and provide you with an estimate.

We keep a limited inventory of board blanks, but if we don’t have what you’re looking for, we can usually create it within a week, depending on our workload and the availability of materials.

Our boards make thoughtful gifts for weddings, housewarmings, anniversaries, or as a beautiful addition to your own kitchen. We craft both end grain butcher block boards and edge grain boards using rich woods like walnut, cherry, and maple — or a striking mix of exotic species for a one-of-a-kind look.

Turnaround times vary depending on the complexity of your order and our current queue, as we are a small, detail-focused team. Our name "Yellow Dog" is in remembrance of our mother-daughter golden retrievers we trained for hunt tests, upland and duck hunting, and just plain companionship!
